March 24 marks World TB (Tuberculosis) Day. On that day in 1882, Dr Robert Koch announced the discovery of the bacteria responsible for this age-old infectious disease. Decades later, an antibiotic was developed to treat patients with tuberculosis. But even today, TB remains a major public health issue, especially multi-resistant strains of the disease. FRANCE 24's Julia Sieger tells us more.
